Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, said his side will complete the 15 Transjakarta corridors. At this moment, corridor 13 serving Ciledug - Blok M is being constructed, while corridor 14 and 15 must be postponed to avoid traffic jam.

“We’ll surely finish the corridor, but we can not construct them at once to avoid terrible traffic jam,” he said, Wednesday (1/20).

It is predicted that corridor 13 construction will finish this year by using multi years budget.

“People do not want stuck in traffic because of infrastructure construction. In South Jakarta, we already have MRT construction,” he added.

He ensured to add more buses to short the waiting period for Transjakarta passenger. He also asked other public transports to join with PT Transjakarta.
